Perfect practice makes perfect!
The first order up on the Language Arts menu is the weekly spelling list. Traditionally, spelling words have been drilled into our heads by repetition. While this is useful for some, why not jazz it up?
Each spelling list will be found at www.spellingcity.com. At the website select "Find a List" and type in my name, "Kristan Gibson." Then, select the unit and week that we are working on. You can choose from several types of games, practice tests, and even a "teach me" section that teaches you your new words.
Our first spelling test will be Friday, August 31, 2012. Explore the website, practice your spelling words, and have fun!
I will be sending home this information in a handout the first week of school for further reference.
